Netflix today recommended to me the movie John Paul II: The Millenial Pope. Now, maybe I might be interested in a movie about the former leader of the Catholic Church from the perspective of documentary makers that really admired him, but that's not the issue. The issue is WHY Netflix thinks I might like this movie. They recommended the movie to me because somewhere in the past I indicated I liked the movie "10". Now, for those not familiar with the epic motion picture known as "10", it is the pleasant little story of a young man played by a younger Dudley Moore who is attempting to make friendly contact with a person of the opposite gender, played by the thesbian actress Bo Derek, in her first movie. Translated: It's a movie about a guy who sees a hot blonde and decides he wants to have sex with her. Yep, that's the essence of the entire movie. It put Bo Derek on the charts because she was really hot back then, and guys were fantasizing about her big time once they discovered her for the first time.
So, how exactly does Netflix make the connection that I would like a movie about the former pope because I enjoyed a movie about a guy who wants to get laid? Are they trying to tell me something, such as I need to clean up my act and find religion? Or are they trying to reveal a secret, that Pope John Paul was actually a womanizer who bagged chicks like Bo Derek?
Again, I do not understand Netflix sometimes.
Stumble It!

I think he was before he discovered God or sth. He had been an actor before he was ordained, right? So, maybe tis makes more sense, lol. Yeah, these recommendations, like "customers who bought this book/video also bought this and this", I find mildly amusing, too.
