The Query Letter Dance

I sent out query letters to agents last week for the following novels:

The Ameriad (humorous Greek epic)
Destiny (science fiction/fantasy hybrid)
Loser (science fiction)
AWOL (suspense)
The Teddy Bear Conspiracy (suspense)

Usually, I get form letter rejections, and that's it. Yesterday, I received my first bite for The Ameriad. Now I need to send the interested agent a full copy of the manuscript. Hey, at least it's a positive reaction this time around.
