We lost Dr. Ritchie this weekend, from an email I just received a few minutes ago.

Dr. Ritchie was probably the one professor I've ever taken who I felt just had way too much knowledge within him. My first day in his class was unbelievable as he spent nearly 15 minutes with each graduate student fleshing out their thesis and dissertation ideas with so much information I felt like I was completely way in over my head.

Truly a tragedy to political science, everyone who ever knew him and to those who never got a chance to know him.
