The Center for Constitutional Transitions hosted the workshop that involved constitutional experts from all over the world, including Sujit Choudhry. Sujit is the director of the institution. The conference brought together several intelligent minds on matters dealing with constitutional making. During the workshop, Sujit noted that there was a wave where traditional democracies are being involved in the process of lawmaking. Therefore, Sujit advises that current constitutional leaders should discuss and collect options based on policy to support the operation of constitutional reforms. About Sujit Choudhry

Professor Sujit has handled constitutional matters for more than 20 years in an array of contexts such as political violence and ceasefires. He has experience in enabling public dialogue sessions with stakeholders, training bureaucrats and civil servants, involving parliamentarians and party leaders, and drafting memoranda and technical reports.
